League request emails

When you request a league, we collect your name, email address, league details and optional note. Your email is used to acknowledge the request, tell you the approval outcome and send your private invitation. These transactional emails are sent through Resend, which processes your email address and email content to deliver them. Requests and delivery status are available only to the site owner; we do not add you to a marketing mailing list. Invitation links work across browsers, are single-use and expire seven days after approval. Treat your invitation as private.

Optional owner request alerts

The site owner can enable web-push notifications for new league requests. These subscriptions are separate from league blind-timer alerts. Owner lock-screen messages contain no applicant details or invitation codes. The owner can disable request push alerts on each device without disabling email or blind alerts.

What Poker Night stores

When you use a league, we store its player names and nicknames, game records, buy-ins, payouts, notes and settings. We also store the league code and a securely hashed version of its password.

Traffic analytics

We record basic request and session information to operate and protect the service, including a shortened or hashed network identifier, browser details, pages requested and approximate city or country derived from the network address. Approximate location can be inaccurate and is only visible in the private owner analytics area.

Optional product analytics

Only if you choose Allow analytics, we record a limited set of page/tab views, button clicks and successful actions such as submitting an access request or saving a game. We group them into a pseudonymous visit using a separate first-party cookie. A visit expires after 30 minutes without recorded activity or at most 24 hours; we do not identify you across devices. Reports are visible only to the site owner.

We keep only recognised event names, times and a broad source category such as Product Hunt or Reddit. We do not store typed form contents, league codes, passwords, session credentials, player names, raw IP addresses, full referral URLs, recordings or mouse movements in this optional analytics database. A source category may be inferred from a referral or campaign tag; it is not guaranteed to identify the original source.

Optional events are deleted after 30 days, with expiry checked hourly. Your analytics choice is remembered locally for up to six months. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable optional collection. You can decline without losing app features, or change your choice below or in Settings. Turning it off deletes the current visit’s optional history when the server can be reached; previous visits expire automatically. Essential security/access logs are separate and remain in use.

Sessions and local storage

The service uses a secure session cookie after league sign-in. Your browser may also remember recent league codes and a private request token so you can return to a pending league request. League passwords are not stored in browser local storage by Poker Night.

Optional blind-timer notifications

If you explicitly enable blind alerts, Poker Night stores the device’s web-push subscription endpoint and encrypted delivery keys against the current league. These technical details let the push service deliver a blind-level notification while the installed app is closed or the phone is locked. They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Disabling alerts removes that league’s subscription record; invalid subscriptions are also removed automatically.

How information is used

Information is used to provide league scoring, maintain security, investigate faults and understand aggregate product usage. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Access and deletion

Service stage

Poker Night is an early-stage service. This policy will be updated before paid billing or additional third-party services are introduced.
